About Cadeler

Cadeler is a hybrid between a shipping and a construction company operating in the offshore wind industry. We specialize in the transport and installation of foundations and offshore wind turbines.

The company was established in 2008 under the name Blue Ocean Ships. In 2010, it changed its name to Swire Blue Ocean while operating as part of the Swire Group. In October 2020, the company demerged from Swire Group and underwent an IPO to become an independent entity and has operated under the Cadeler brand ever since.

We have installed over 500 offshore wind turbines and foundations - equivalent to wind energy powering more than 6.5 million European households.  Furthermore, we offer a wide range of offshore services incl. O&M, T&I and other marine and engineering operations with a strong focus on safety and the environment.

Cadeler is on a clear mission to facilitate the world’s transition to a more sustainable planet built on renewable energy by being the key supplier in the development of offshore wind energy. Our experience as provider of high-quality offshore wind support services, combined with innovative vessel design, allows our company to deliver premium services to the industry.  By striving for excellence in everything we do - from safety, recruitment and training, state-of-the-art vessel design, maintenance to management, Cadeler is able to provide the best in class service to our customers.
